New Semester, New Me

It's about three months into the semester and I must say its been AMAZING so far. Last year was somewhat of a hard semester for me. I realized when you surround yourself around people that you have traits you admire, those traits will soon rub off on you. I have always been very ambitious (it's a trait that runs it my family) but last year I wasn't proud whatsoever of what I accomplished. I had accomplished a big pile of NOTHING. So this semester I plugged myself into everything I could. I've joined SIFE, News 96 (our school TV station), newspaper staff, Trash Mountain Project, oh and now I'm joining a sorority! This year has been busy but I'm loving every minute of it. I work my butt off (hence work like a boss) but it's the only way I'd like I to be.I really feel like me again.

I'm new to this!

Hello blogging world, if that's even correct to say? Well I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now. I came up with so many reasons for me not to but my sorority sister convinced me to just do it so here I am! So I'm Shannell and this is my sophomore year at a small, Chrisitan college. I have been raised southern all my life and I'm from Nashville, Tennessee. I was pretty preppy all my life, then I came to college and my first year I was anything but that. I was trying to fit in with something I wasn't but this year I'm back to the good ol' me and the way my moma raised me. This year has already been pretty amazing and I can't wait for it to get better and better! And I'll be updating you all on how it goes ;)
